Judea Mission Opportunity Volunteers Needed For Construction Projects Pisgah Baptist Church in Long Lane will be doing a mission outreach in their community next week (June 10-14) in the form of construction projects. They have enough workers for Monday through Wednesday but are short of help on Thursday and Friday, June 13 and 14. Below are the the projects where help is needed on those two days: Roof - A crew is scheduled to tear off the old shingles on Wednesday but help is needed to put on the new shingles. This is for a 75 year old woman in desperate need. A house with various needs - Help is needed with replacing the floor on the back porch and re-roofing the well house. The major need for this house is electrical work. It is an old house with the main fuse box installed in the floor of a bedroom. This lady is a single mother with two small children and is afraid of the kids getting into the fuse box. It needs to be removed and a new breaker box installed in the wall. There are also rooms with electrical wires sticking out of the ceiling and walls. Wires need to be run to the well house so she can install a washer and dryer. The electrical work is the major concern but may have to be postponed unless a couple of good electricians can be enlisted to help. Pisgah Baptist Church in Long Lane is located halfway between Buffalo and Lebanon on Highway 32. The church is providing meals for everyone and if anyone wishes to spend the night, they would be welcome to stay in the ministry building which has showers available.
