Judging Question ... Our list is hosting a Masquerade contest November lst (doll with mask). What is your opinion on picking a winner? Do you think it is *polite* to pick a name out of a hat ... or actually pick a winner on merit? NOW before you answer this seemingly easy question ... think of the fall out . Virtual world seems to be made up of people who make it their daily goal to take the opposite side of an opinion. Like my innocent comment of a prop I bought for a doll from Hobby lobby. I dont care what Hobby Lobby policies are ... or anyone elses. I simply want to teach people how to create miniature dolls. Period. Anyone, anywhere, with any budget and its been my mantra for the last 30 years! I also grew up in the generation where EVERYONE doesnt get a prize just for showing up ... you get a prize because you did above the ordinary. I truly think those people should be awarded. Sooo what are your thoughts on this? Do you think contests should be won with a random winner in the group --- or based on merit? PLEASE PLEASE lets stick to that subject not delve into any political agenda . THANK YOU!!!
