Julian did well with procedures today. It was a long day for him, - TopicsExpress

Julian did well with procedures today. It was a long day for him, Daddy and Papa. Procedure days are always long! He had to be at the clinic at 9:00 AM, but the procedures were not scheduled until 1:00 PM. He couldnt eat after midnight, so he was tired and hungry by the time he was actually taken back. When I got home, I discovered that he still had two stickers on him from the heart monitor, and one was placed partially on the tegaderm from his dressing. When I pulled it off, it was clear that the dressing would have to be changed. He just had a dressing change on Saturday, which I had to do (for the first time). He hates those, so I was upset that he had to go through it again so soon. I did his second dressing change of the week, with the help of Jeff and my mom (who held him down). Poor kid! We are still awaiting results. We should get one set of results tomorrow. That is the less sensitive of the two tests, and that one will show whether he is in clinical remission. The other is the MRD test, which we may have the results of by Wednesday, but more likely Thursday. Please continue to pray for 0.0%! Julian has been enjoying his time at home. These are a few pictures of popping bubbles with Gummy and Jaylynn yesterday and Julian and Jaylynn racing this evening. It is so nice to have him home for a little while! We wish you all a great week! God bless, The Andrews
