July 1, 2 Kings 18:13-19, Have you not heard? Long ago I did it; From ancient times I planned it. This is Gods word to the king of Assyria who had been mocking and blaspheming the God of Israel with his exploits in battle. God, no doubt with a smile on His face, reminds this king that no, you did not so much do these things as they were from My sovereign hand first. King Hezekiah was surrounded by this toads army and offers a prayer to God for deliverance. God reminds Hezekiah, its under control, My control. So even when were surrounded by problems, challenges and loss, know this, whatever it is youre facing, it has first passed through the Fathers hand. And even if you dont understand whats happening, which you probably wont, trust the Fathers heart for He loves you more than you can possibly imagine!
