July 15, 2014 Traffic Advisory – Bombardier Strike The labour dispute involving the Bombardier plant is causing traffic congestion on Montreal Street. Approximately 800 striking employees are at the site which has resulted in parking challenges in the area of the plant. The Thunder Bay Police Service is attempting to direct and keep traffic moving safely in the area. We are asking for the public’s cooperation in reducing the traffic volume. Please avoid Montreal Street between Mountdale Avenue and Neebing Avenue if possible. Be aware that there will be delays in driving in the vicinity of the Bombardier Plant. The T.B.P.S. is working with both sides of this dispute to improve these traffic issues.
