July 27th Today was a good day for the girls, we still have Maddies feeding tube in, it just proved too much for her to take all her feedings by bottle..almost to the point of having to force feed her...I love the the Dr s attitude. They want her feedings to be pleasant and enjoyable. This will delay her homecoming somewhat, but only to give her time to build her endurance. Secretly I think she is stalling, she wants to wait for Emmie. Our little Emmie took almost her whole bottle for daddy today...good girl Emmie. We still struggle with her aspirating so that is a big deal. Suck, swallow, and breath....the simple things our bodies do that we take for granted! Looking forward to tomorrow and what is in store for our girls!
