July 29, 2014. Thank God for this holiday. I am here in Siquijor for bonding with family and in-laws. As a Siquijodnon by my marriage to Engr. Jerome John J. Gabin, I promote Siquijor (after Bohol) to many people... I have not only fallen in love with its affectionate and gentle people, but with its beautiful place as well - so tranquil, so peaceful, so breathtaking... During my time as Holy Spirit School - FPTA officer, I was able to convince Sr. Joy Quizan, SSps, the school director, together with almost 100 of the administrative, teaching and non-teaching personnel to have their recollection and since 2007 till this time, when Siquijor started to be regularly featured during Holy Week observances, its always my friend, Seju Leo Udtohan, who does the coverage, making Mommy Laura Jumawan Gabins house his home during his sojourn... I LOVE SIQUIJOR!
