July 5 - GREEN FRIDAY Friend, As we approach tomorrow evening’s historic public meeting at the Pierre Road Recreation Ground, I have been inundated over the last few days with calls from persons throughout the country expressing support and encouragement both at the personal and at the political levels. Persons have been asking how and in what way they can show their support for my stand in defence of quality representation and performance, respect for the electorate, reverence to the contract between the people and the party that is enshrined in the party’s constitution, and the corrupting influence on the government of a cabal. The most simple and effective way to join this cause is simply to wear or display something – anything – green during the day tomorrow, July, 5, 2013; and of course, to attend the public meeting at Pierre Road Recreation Ground, Felicity which starts at 6:30pm. The shade of green does not matter. It does not matter whether it is a t-shirt, a bandana, ribbon or flag. It does not matter if the item is large or small, or whether it is worn on the person or displayed in your cars. Just make Friday, July 5, 2013 be recorded in history as “Green Friday”. Those who wear green tomorrow would be able to say with pride that they stood up and participated in the evolution of our politics by making a statement for what they believe in.
