July 5th. A day that most would say is not my day. For, 6 years - TopicsExpress

July 5th. A day that most would say is not my day. For, 6 years ago today, I lost my best friend. A lady that was truly (until my children were born) my favorite person in the world. Then, 1 year ago today, I began what was most definitely the hardest journey of my life. I woke to have my water broke at only 21 weeks pregnant. But, today... I celebrate July 5th. I celebrate 6 years ago and 1 year ago. Although both of those days were spent at Floyd Medical Center, they both taught me more than any other two experiences in my life. The day that my sweet and precious Gran busted through the gates of heaven made me long for that wonderful place so much more. I was thankful that when we are sick and weary, there are much greater things waiting on the other side. I am thankful that one day, I will wrap myself up in one of her bear hugs. Then, a year ago, I learned what putting something in Gods hands was truly like. I learned what faith felt like. I have witnessed miracles that most wont ever get to see. I have grown so much spiritually in the last year. So thankful. So blessed. Thanking the good Lord for July 5th today. Past, present, and future! Graham Nash
