July 6 We were awake by 8:00 and Mark and Brett had the boat underway by 8:15. We made zip lock omelets and blue berry muffins for breakfast while heading south. We were in the golfo di Orasei for twenty six miles at which point we made a U turn. We made it to Cala Gonone. White sandy beaches turned into cliffs. We saw some dramatic rock formations and caves. The trip down was pleasant light wind. We did put out a paravane. Mark and Jennifer had PB&J for lunch while Steph and Brett had tuna. On the return trip we had steady 25 knot winds with some 34 knot gusts. Stephanie got to experience various seas during her "24 hour boat experience". We had spray the whole way back. Starlet was a salt crystal. We returned to the free dock in La Caletta at 4:00 PM. Stephanie and Brett had a shopping trip and dinner planned with friends in Olbia so they took off in their car shortly after arriving. It was an early evening with the Closer for entertainment.
