July 8, 2010 Blood donation action organized in Gabala by Ministry of Health on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation The Donor Day was held at Gabala Central District Hospital to help people suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia. 135 residents of the district voluntarily partook in the blood donation action organized by Ministry of Health on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Employees of the Central District Hospital, the North-West Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies and Territorial Taxes Department No.10 were especially active in the event in which over 30l blood was collected. The blood was sent to the Republican Blood Bank.
