July 8th, a friends dog got this out of a lake. He was fuzzy and ugly and I had to be his mama. I kept him on my porch and I fed him, about a week later he was flying really good so hes been 100% free outside. Any clue what he is? At first I thought he was a thrasher but reading up on thrashers he doesnt fit it 100% he does not have yellow eyes and he likes to fly really high. At dusk he goes way up into the trees to go to sleep and at 7 oclock in the morning he is banging on my window. Now that hes pretty much a big boy I dont really feed him that much ( few meal worms in the morning) and he gets his own food, but he is so loving I cant do yardwork because he wants to sit on my shoulder. I seriously used a weedeater for about 45 minutes yesterday with him on my shoulder the whole time. I cant even swim in my pool without him flying above me and landing on my head every time I come up.
