Jumpin jompers! Even our songs have inspired the west! The very Hip-Hop ‘Dont Phunk With My Heart’ (2005) by The Black Eyed Peas was derived from Kalyanji-Anandji’s ‘Aye Naujawan’ from Feroz Khan ‘Apradh’(1972). It also features fleetingly the opening note of another 1 of K.As chart-busting ‘ye mera dil’ from Don (1978). The Black Eyed Peas, have in fact acknowledged ‘DPWMH’ having originated from Kalyanji-Anandji’s said compositions – at least ...Wikipedia mentions the fact…which is really a good thing! Well they did craft their song rather soundly…but 1 prefers the ‘original’ any day... :) youtube/watch?v=P4Bda6_usuc&feature=kp youtube/watch?v=_KKGPYSqyEI
