Jumping off on Carolyns hijacked post on my wall...somebody suggested a BEST DAUGHTER CONTEST. Okay, in 100 words or less, post why you think that your daughter is the best in the world. Ill give the writer of the best post (subjectively chosen by Carolyn) a pair of tickets to one of my plays so that you can take the young lady out for an evening of theater. Ill start. Back in 2008, I had a car accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury that required emergency surgery. There was a good chance that I would be a quadriplegic. Carolyn was 16. I was alone, afraid and trying to put on a brave face. Carolyn never left my side. Hers was the last face I saw before I went under and when I woke up in ICU after the operation, she was at my bedside holding my hand. She is the light of my life. Tell us your story.
