June 15 10:30 a.m. Halfway To Liberty: The Forward Leaning Call of Social Justice Rev. Eugene Guy LaMothe The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would remind us that We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, and that Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. His words ring ever true. As individuals in community, we find ourselves connected in profound ways. Justice and injustice affect us all; on the long road to liberty we have only halfway travelled. Respectful of our inherent worth and dignity, and with a desire for justice, equity, and compassion in all our relations, we must choose to push forward along libertys challenging road. Ever mindful of our quest for social justice, join with the Congregation for this inspiring worship service.
