June 2014 Homerun for the Homeless Edition Dear Friends of the Day Center, Many of you came out to ONEOK Field on Thursday, May 22nd to enjoy and support the eighth annual Homerun for the Homeless. From the first pitch by local little leaguer Magnolia Crissup to Great Day Green Countrys Kendall Kirkham leading the crowd in the traditional seventh inning stretch to the final out it was a great night for a ball game. For the first time in three years the Radio/Writer team beat the TV team by a score of 9 - 4. We would like to take a moment and thank you for coming out year after year to support the players and this event. We enjoy bringing this family friendly event to the Tulsa Community and are already looking toward next years event as we strive to make it better year after year for YOUR enjoyment.
