June 27,2013. The intervention of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), to help the government authorities to go after the abductors of siblings Linda and Nodova Bansils is laudable. However, considering earlier that leaders of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)in Sulu have expressed their support to help government authorities for the safe rescue of the the two sisters abducted by armed men must be given due consideration for the following reasons. 1) they are native of the place, 2) some of them are known to the people probably they can influence other council of elders to extend their help safe release of the kidnapped victims, 3) some members of the MNLF leaders are Utadz/Ulama. In fact, it could be recalled that the MNLF leaders have appeal to military authorities to halt/stop their operation to pave the way for the smooth and peaceful release of the two sisters filmakers who were kidnapped. We have to understand that the MILF broke away from the MNLF because of political differences and ideology.
