June 6,2014 St. Norbert, Bishop First Friday, 7th Week of Easter Lord, You know everything and You know that I love You. Change and transform my life with the fire of Your love and free me from fear, selfishness and greed. Grant that I may generously respond to Your unconditional love by giving myself to You today in acts of love that embraces my entire person, my intellect, my will and my sentiments. As I strive to follow You, help me to go beyond myself and allow Your love to carry me beyond my selfish preferences so that You may use me to love and serve those You have given to me. Strengthen me by the power of Your Spirit and fill me with Your divine love that I may overcome all sinful pride and willfulness that may keep me away from You. Draw me to Yourself in love as I entrust myself to You and Your will and in Your plans for my life, because I believe and know that You are in charge of the world and the unfolding of history, and this gives me utmost peace in my heart.
