Residents living on the estate said they were woken by the sound of an air ambulance landing on a patch of grass outside the house. Neighbours of Mrs Henderson said she was a widow and walked with the aid of a frame and had difficulty getting around. She had lived on the estate for a number of years. People who lived nearby spoke of their shock at the news of her death. Speaking at the time, one resident said: “It was a real shock to wake up in the morning and see all that happening. “Nobody really knew what had happened, although we knew she was an elderly lady. “She used to say to hello people on the estate and we would see her walking to the shops.
