June 8, 2013 (Saturday) the 1ST SOS RUGBY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT...First to be in Davao! In our efforts to grow the sport of Rugby in the Davao City, the SOS Children’s Village Davao in partnership with the Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU) and the VISMIN Rugby Football Union have been teaching the sport to children under our care and in the community (invited Tambayan and Balay Pasilungan children). The players are 6 to 16 years old and play touch and tackle rugby, by this means increasing more support and awareness in the plight of children and forwarding their call to action. The 1st SOS Summer Rugby Football Clinic will also be held in celebration of the 26th SOS International Day. Action starts at 8:00 am and to end at 5:00pm today!
