June bugs are out in full force. I picked Ethan and Eric up from their Aunt Cappy Gaschler last night around 10 pm. Ethan had caught a June bug in the flood light. After examination we loaded into the car. About 2 miles north of Ellis I kept hearing the distant buzz of the bug over the radio. I accused Ethan of still having his June bug to which he promptly states he let it go. My first thought was in the car to which he informed me he had left the June bug at his Aunts house. After another mile I had the radio turned off the dome light on driving 20mph while everyone listened and looked for the culprit. As I looked down in the center of the seats Eva promptly screams Its in your hair! Those that know me recognize the one fault of curly hair and critters. Eva promptly begins beating me on the head to which I am then forced to drive into the ditch to prevent wrecking. Ethan had unbuckled and was climbing over the seat to rescue mom. Alas, the June bug escaped the curls and has vanished into the recesses of the car. My head is sore this morning but free of June bugs.
