June is National Microchipping Month; a campaign to encourage responsible ownership through Microchipping as a method of permanent pet identification. Almost any species of animal can be microchipped including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, tortoises, birds and even fish. Members of the Castle Vets Pet Health Club are entitled to FREE Microchipping for their pet. An application form and details for our Pet Health Club can be found on our website castle-vets.co.uk For non-members we offer microchips at the low price of £9.50 If your pet is already Microchipped please make sure that you keep your contact details up to date, otherwise it may be impossible to reunite you with a missing pet. To check your pet’s details are up to date or to change any details, visit petlog.org.uk If you want to check your pets microchip is working correctly you can pop into the surgery and one of our reception team will be happy to scan your pet for you.
