Kevin maintained this form throughout the day and finished off undefeated with 3 wins from 3, leaving him in a great position to qualify from the tight section. After the perfect undefeated start on day 1 for Lesley Gordon she unfortunately lost her opening game in day 2 to a very strong Welsh opponent. Lesley got back to winning ways defeating Cook Islands 21 - 8 in the afternoon and sits favourably in second place in the table with 2 more rounds remaining. Ryan Burnett had 3 more convincing victories on day 2 defeating both New Zealand2 and Hong Kong in the singles and then seeing off Canada in the evening pairs match 24 - 7. Ryan sits top of the table after round 5. Stacey Laidlaw had to fight for both her singles victories today which she did with some fantastic pressure bowls. Her day started off against the undefeated Brunei competitor, winning the match 21 - 18 and then seeing off Namibia 21 - 18 also. This leaves Stacey in second place in the section and with all to play for tomorrow. Stacey went on to partner Ryan to a convincing pairs victory against Canada in the evening match.
