Jury duty update: I was #183 but there were only 46 in the courtroom today. Where were the other 137 people? It didnt start at the advertised time of 9am. It ran about 30 min late. The scheduled judge had a funeral. The judge that showed up only knew about the case for about 10 min. Everyone agreed... and by everyone I mean the judge and attorneys because they didnt ask me... everyone agreed that it would be better for the scheduled judge to preside over this case. So everyone agreed... again they didnt ask me... everyone agreed that everyone, including me, needs to come back for jury duty next Tuesday. Im hoping theyll get more than 46 of us this time!
