Just Outside My Window 7/11/11 After an MCS blew through the area, there was a lot of leftover lightning in the rain shield/anvil region of the storm. Though it wasnt raining that hard, the lightning was incredibly intense. Nearly every strike let out a loud crack of thunder. Most flashes had a pinkish hue, and were quite close by. This is a cut from my video that day. Nothing quite like shooting out your backyard slider window! Sometimes the great storms just come to you.
