One of a kind drawing/painting by Artist Miss Mindy Title: Drizzle-Bird-Sassafras - ORIGINAL Ink painting by Miss Mindy Art size Roughly: 9 x 5.5 Ink and acrylic on Watercolor paper Signed Inspired by my Trip to Disneyland this last friday with my neice... she loves her some Splash Mt... 2 times! ;) - MM A little Story about these paintings: Every morning I wake up and warm up. Freeing up my wrists for the days artwork... Its a magic time for me, creating art off the top of my head. Dont you do that all the time? you say.... Yes, but I work in many ways, some paintings take doing sketches upfront, planning and honing, so the wild free-ness of a quick sketch can get lost. The other work I do is in animation & concept design.. so thats all behind the scenes, and youll never see those lovely sketches... because they are done on my Cintiq and travel into cyber space over to the big guys like Nickelodeon, Wildbrain... & Mattel. I also create Fine art, sculpture & Art Toys for Disney... My own twist of course... but still, not as crazy-free! So as you can see, I have a major love of commercial art, but my alter ego is free like a bird and wants no strings attached. This is where these little miracles are born. Weird-ass Ideas that will (half the time) never make into one of my big macho wood-cuts or paintings, but find a home here. In Ink, In the morning. Me and my head.
