Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) Peter came to Jesus one day and said to Him, Lord, how many times should my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said no, but as many as seventy times seven. (Matthew 18:22) What!? Keep forgiving a brother sinning against you up to 490 times?! I really dont believe Jesus was giving an outrageous magical number of times to forgive, but I believe He was saying to us, forgive until you dont have to forgive anymore. A love that forebears, has a long suffering spirit of heart and desires to project an understanding that, no matter what - In Christ and by His Truth, I love you. (Eph. 4:2) This is not agreeing with the sin or wrong, but loving the person beyond it. And in this understanding praying that His Spirit will bring them to a place of understanding and repentance.
