Just Sharing...a Thought: Therefore let us, as many as be mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Philippians 3:15 Something that I learned many years ago as I have studied His word: there is a reason why the therefore is there for. So, well, in this case you really dont know what mind you need to have just with this portion of Scripture. So, we must context the Therefore. As I do hope that you will read, you will find that Paul was giving a warning to beware of evil workers who want you to follow the law and not faith. For by faith in Jesus Christ we are the true circumcision, as sin was cut away from our heart by the Blood of Jesus Christ in Salvation. Paul said, though, that if he wanted he had plenty to boast of in the flesh in being and doing. But he counted all of it as loss and rubbish, in comparison to gaining Christ. He said that he surely hasnt arrived and in no cause knows everything. But here he says this: one thing I do forgetting - forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead Paul says, I press toward the goal to win the prize that Gods heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!! And that prize is more than I can ever imagine, but in Him, I can win it! Glory!! Therefore let us, as many as be mature, have this mind... Its a growth in Truth lead of the Holy Spirit. What you havent comprehended yet, dont worry, trust our Lord, and it will be revealed. He never leaves us in the dark, and there is no confusion in Truth. No child of God is better or more spiritual than the other, and there is no ahead or behind or higher or lower in the Body of Christ. It is your place in your growth in your time taught and lead by One, the Holy Spirit. We all then should be guided by what we have learned so far (v16) Praise God! Bro.
