Just Tell Me, How Will He Not Arise? = One of my fantasies of Heaven is the reality of a performance by the current Angelic choir on one hand, a performance by musicians/members of various choirs raptured from all the nations of the earth on the other hand and a joint performance by both choirs. If it is accepted that we only use 10% of our brain power then automatically, the best musician or player of any music instrument could not release more than 80% of his abilities. You can then imagine what will happen when he not only accesses that untapped capacity but he is presented with far superior musical instruments available in Heaven. Every author, musician, or any other artist by whatever name called knows that in his/her body of work, there is at least one piece that is exceptionally inspired, where you sense some or significant element of “Divine” participation. Each time I listen to songs particularly Gospel songs or hymns, I always look out for those which in my opinion must survive this earthly realm. Some songs are just that inspired. Take the performance of the following for instance: -Handel’s “Hallelujah”. The story had it that the King of England, King George II, stood up when the rendition reached crescendo at: “And he shall reign forever and ever, hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah…”. -Our God is an awesome God: Our God is an awesome God he reigns from heaven above with wisdom, power and love Our God…. -Ancient of Days: ” Your kingdom shall reign over all the earth, sing unto…. sing to the Ancient of Days, No one can compare to your matchless worth, sing….sing to the Ancient of Days -This is the Air I breathe…. -And many more others in other dialects, languages and tongues etc A recent but deserving addition to this list will be the song “Arise”. Just imagine a philharmonic performance of this song with every possible stringed instruments, saxophone, bass guitar etc or a performance of this song at the Communion during the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. This song is short but powerful. One Thing we ask of You One thing that we desire That as we worship You Lord, come and change our lives Arise, Arise, Arise, Arise Chorus Arise, take Your place Be enthroned on our praise Arise, King of kings Holy God, as we sing Arise, Arise, Arise, Arise Bridge We lift You up We lift You up We lift You up on our praises Tell me, why or how he will not arise when meaningful worship is offered?
