Just a Reminder... Voting for Best of Boise is about to come to a close and as the Executive Director of the Boise Bicycle Project, I would love to have your vote for Boises Best Nonprofit and Bike Shop. I know some of you work for and are very involved with other great nonprofits, and you should definitely give them your vote, because it absolutely makes a difference. See where they can fit into other categories as well (Boise Rock School for best rock group or Radio Boise KRBX 89.9 FM for best radio station)! Show your support for nonprofits! When I first started BBP, it was a struggle to get meetings and partnerships started with businesses, organizations, and local governments. The communitys support and voting in the Best of Boise (BBP has one best Nonprofit 5 years in a row) has opened doors for BBP that have created change in Boise and new empowering opportunities for Boises citizens. But crap man, even if you vote for another great nonprofit like Lifes Kitchen, keep us in mind for Best Freaking Bike Shop on the planet! Fact- Boise will one day be the Bicycle Capital of America, and your votes will help us make that possible! Thank you for believing!
