Just a Thought: Have you ever had the feeling like youre missing something important when you read Gods Word? Has it ever made you feel uneasy when you look up the Strongs, Thayers, or Brown Driver Briggs numbers, and your translation doesnt quite match what the numbers say? Has it ever eaten at your spirit when someone says something that sounds real good, but then you feel uneasy about what was conveyed? Do you ever get the feeling that with all you do, it still leaves you empty? How about the grace thing, with all thats being said about grace and how easy grace is, somehow were missing the point? Why does God have rules for us to follow but man says we dont need to, who has the final say so in that matter? 2Ti 2:15 Do your best to shtel zich (apply yourself), to present yourself to Hashem as one approved, a poel (workman) without bushah (shame), keeping on a derech (the way) yashar (upright) the Dvar (the word) HaEmes (truth). 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Rom 12:1 I appeal to you, therefore, Achim bMoshiach (brothers in Christ), through the rachamei Hashem (mercies of G-d), to present your geviyah (body) (BERESHIS 47:18), all of your being as a korban chai (living sacrifice), kadosh (holy) and acceptable to Hashem (the name of the Lord)(BERESHIS 8:21), which is your spiritual avodas (service) kodesh (holy) service. Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
