Just a brief statement about todays news. I guess I should not be surprised that some of the members of the Republican Central Committee would recommend Robin Frazier as their choice for Senator. During my entire campaign some members of this committee treated me with disrespect, and showed no interest even when I soundly defeated her in the primary, and again in the general election. As a matter of fact they supported her as a write in candidate. This folks, is the mentality of the Republican Central Committee in Carroll County. I consider this a nullification of voter intent. What is laughable is that their secret closed door selection process, was all about their own personal agenda, and not about the voice of the people. There were such experienced delegates in the running. I personally know Justin Ready is well qualified and experienced for this position, and would have provided consistency and common sense in Annapolis. This is a slap in the face to those who are really prepared to do this job, creates controversy for Governor Hogan, and is just another reason for Carroll County to garner disrespect. I have been inundated today with responses from very upset citizens. I am told there is already an online link to a petition available at Change.org.
