Just a couple of notes for those going to the Riverbend Festival tonight. 1) It will be crowded. Very crowded. More crowded than you can imagine. The headlining band -- Widespread Panic -- is REALLY popular. So, now that youve been warned, no complaining. :) 2) There are two really cool bands playing up on the Unum Stage near the Hunter Museum: Willie Ziavino & C.O.T. Band followed by Annie Selleck with the Uptown Big Band. And, as a bonus, the crowds arent nearly as bad up there. 3) Be sure to catch my friend Jennifer Daniels on the TVFCU Stage (under the Walnut Street Bridge) at 9:15 pm. If youve seen her before, you know how good she is. If you havent, youre in for a treat. 4) Ill be debuting a new straw hat tonight, as is customary for me at Riverbend.
