Just a couple of silk lap scarves I manage to finish this week . I have used beautiful hand dyed silk laps with many stitches and cut out lacework.They take many hours to make as all the the stitching needs to connect and the stitches need to be close together to hold the 1000s of microfibers of silk filament which is a silk lap. When i create these scarves their design becomes an organic process enjoying the luster,drape and shapes of the pure silk lap. It is Saturday evening time to relax with a nice glass of wine and good company wishing you all a lovely weekend.
