This is a public post because I want to get peoples thoughts Q: Why is it mostly acceptable for women to wear mens clothes in public, work, etc (tomboy look, suit and tie look, etc etc) and thats NOT considered cross dressing for women. But... The instant a man puts in female clothes , its frowned upon by society. Its considered cross dressing etc So my ultimate Q is: why the hypocrisy? Why can woman wear guy clothes and men arent supposed to wear womans? I think I know the answer, but I like to hear other people first. (Note: I have no desire to wear womens clothes ... Nor have I ever. I even suffer from this issue. Deep down inside , theres part of me saying guys shouldnt wear womens clothes... Thats overridden by another part of me saying thats judgmental. That part wins over the judging part of me)
