Just a fantastic day!! Got up, spent some quiet time watching the silly chickens and snuggling with the horses. Threw Balis on a pulling harness for the first time ever to help with morning chores (OK -she only had to haul hay :-) ), and she did GREAT. Spent the afternoon at the lake with Matt and 3 of our kids - Vader, Ziva and Cipres. Great swimming and some nice jumps off of the dock! Watched a stupid movie together at home, and burned up the rest of the daylight having Balis, Cipres & Envy pull a wagon of firewood around the yard. Remember when we first got dogs just to hang out with and do fun stuff with? Before they were a job and our hobbies became our entire lifestyle or identify. Its nice to have some of that time back.
