Just a few days ago marked 1 year since Safeway announced it would close Dominicks doors, an announcement that would completely alter my and many of my closest friends lives forever. It wasnt about closing a grocery store. It was about tearing apart families, crushing futures, and halting our passion and pride in what we did everyday. Strength and pride isnt about taking selfies or retweeting a random persons motivational quotes, its about digging deep from the rubble and rebuilding. I am lucky today to say this last year was a character builder, and I came out happy on the other side. I can only hope all the amazing people my Dominicks path crossed are just as happy and strong one short year later. #StrugglesMakeUStronger #Family #BigD
