Just a few more pics from our Wednesday trip to Muleshoe to visit the Copiah 12. We swapped out blankets and measured their height and weight. Jackson was by far the tallest at 16.1. They are all looking so much better and next week the 30 day quarantine will be over! We want those leaving for Golden Triangle Horse Rescue and Team American Saddlebred to be a little bit stronger before making the trip. When horses are this weak, stress can cause them to have a set back and we want them strong enough to handle the changes. We are stalling 5 of the weakest, Nugget, Noah, Georgia, Misty Rose and Samara. They are the funniest things about having to leave their stalls. We literally have to push them out and then they just stand outside waiting to get back in. When horses are this thin, with bones protruding, there is nothing nicer and more comfy than a fluffy bed of shavings to lay down on.
