Donnelly clothes 11) 50 cent movies at the Lincoln,Trent,Mayfair,Stacy,State,Olden,Hermitage and Greenwood theaters with two feature films, cartoons and news reel included in the price 12) Bare ass swimming in school pools( swim trunks not an option) 13) Transfer passes on local busses into town 14) Penny loafers and blue blazers with khakis 15) Dusty bucks 16) Free tickets and day off from school to go to the State Fair at the fairgrounds 17) Lime rickeys at Morgans 18) half ball at Cook School 19) Hours and hours logged in at Cook Y field hittin em out and Jr#2 shootin em up til dark 20)twin ice pops 21) Hookin on to car bumpers while sled riding 22)Petey the bear and the monkey house at Cadwalader Park 23) Home made scooters made from an orange crate,2x4 and an old roller skate 24) Pant leg clip to prevent getting caught in bicycle chain 25) Punks, the ones from around ponds and lakes, not wise-assed kids 26) little league baseball at Ryder Field 27) Playing under the lights at Hetzel Field 28) Jules,at Wetzel Field ( Yankees,3-0, top of the 5th inning) 29) Early graffiti, but really fine art work on downtown store front windows during Halloween season 30) Mumbly peg 31) catch 5 games 32) Hurdy-gurdy man 33) Screws and tire tape to fix cracked wooden baseball bats 34) ice skating at the Log Basin 35)Roller skating at the Capital Rink 36) Ewing and Lawrence Drive-In movies 37) pin ball machines at Chells 38) Juke boxes 39) Vic Rices Driving range and miniature golf 40) 10 cent draught beer and cardboard take-out containers for 50 cents 41) Going for rides on Sunday afternoons in the family car listening to the radio and actually talking to each other 42) ice cream custard 43) hot dog and orange in cone shaped cup at Nedicks 44) Ice man,milk man and bread man making deliveries to your house 45) Jr#2 sock-hops 46) Lionel trains 47) snow ball fights 48) stick ball 49) home movies 50) Family doctor actually making house calls 51) Taking out the ashes from coal burning furnace 52) Powdered waffles from truck driving thru the neighborhood 53) Sports Night at Trenton High 54) Marucas Tomatoe Pies..still no equal today.55) Cook-outs at Waldrons house 56 Necco wafers and button candy on paper strips 57) funny books 58) Rabbit ears on TVs 59) Bandstand and Dick Clark 60) Telephone party lines 61) Slinkys and silly putty 62) Paper routes 63) Flat top haircuts and butch wax 64) Baby Ruths 65) 45 and 78 records...Lastly, immeasurable life lessons learned from fantastic parents and brothers, all sadly missed.
