Just a few short weeks ago, I found myself shocked when I turned over the calendar and it told me it was already October! 2013 is quickly coming to a close... a part of me feels like it should be summer still. Nevertheless, sitting here writing this email to you, my calendar still shows that it is indeed October. In just a few days I will have to flip the calendar over again and it will be November. So, how do we get to Tuesday, December 31st this year with no regrets for how we spent our time during the past twelve months? You know the saying, We all have the same 24 hours in a day, blah, blah, blah... While that is very true, it is not something that realists like me find much hope in when the year is winding down and I still have so much I wanted to accomplish and seemingly little time to do accomplish them in! Im finding myself now going back to January and looking at my action plan and the list of goals I put together for 2013. I had many goals this year... personal, spiritual, and business goals on my list, plus more. Some of these Ive been able to check off in the last ten months, but some I am still working on and hope to have completed by the new year so I can get to work on everything Ive got planned for 2014. Im sitting here looking at the list of things I still want to accomplish in 2013, thinking about how much time I have left, and contemplating exactly what must happen between now and the end of December so that I can look at my employees, in the mirror, and at my family and say, It may have had its ups and downs, but this was a good year. We accomplished a lot! Wherever you are on your list of goals for 2013, take a moment and reflect on what you set out to accomplish this year and what you still have left to do. Take stock of your goals, set short term goals, and make an action plan to finish out the year strong, accomplishing those things which you set out to in January. You may be reading this and have not made many goals for 2013, and if you did, you may have already accomplished them. If you did - good for you! If you have already achieved your goals for this year or if you didnt set any goals this year, its not too late! You can start now with a plan to reach some of your goals by the end of the year. You can also start thinking about your goals for 2014 and setting a plan to accomplish them. To Your Personal Success, Tammy Mann
