Just a few thoughts. Considering that even though the WVAC has given the okay for all areas to be allowed to use the water, except for the numerous areas where there is a boil water order in place and except for pregnant women, oh yeah, and except for kids- aside from that, everything is just hunky dorey. B.S! What about the elderly? What about those people who are ill and /or house bound? What about people who do home dialysis, or need water for nursing procedures? What about clothes and sheets? What about food handlers? What about baby formula and bottles? Another question I havent seen asked or answered; We know that the chemical that contaminated the water is used for washing coal. WHERE is it used for washing coal? Is the runoff from washing coal with this chemical allowed to flow into our creeks and streams? WHO are the customers of Freedom Industries that use this chemical in the coal washing process, and where are they located? WHAT type of inspections are made at these other facilities? The thing about this mess is that it DOES have something to do with coal. Like it or not just about every industry in the state of West Virgina is connected with coal directly or indirectly, and folks the coal operators, the industrial barons, the politicians, the authorities, the EPA, OSHA, the DEP, HHS and all the other folks, many who have their hands out to receive favors or bribes, have had us West Virginians by the balls for over a century and we, like the timid sheep that we are, have let them get by with it. Look at the mine wars. Look at the Mannington mine disaster. Look at Buffalo Creek. Look at Upper Big Branch and Don Blankenship. The thing is there is plenty of blame to go around, and as long as we tolerate these bastards and keep voting them in power and keep giving them jobs, we are going to keep getting the crappy end of the stick.
