Just a few updates and questions answered. I am not sure if everyone knows this or not but Heather Harwood has decided to step down as a moderator of this group. It was her personal choice and we are very sad to see her go. Heather is an amazing person. I will always be grateful to her for being at every rally/protest! Freezing her butt off with me and about 5 others when we first started doing them in November. We wish her well and she is always welcome back. The loss of such a solid admin is a huge blow to the response time to many pending posts, new member approvals and so on. Heather is not replaceable But we all realized even before she decided to leave thar we needed more admin. So we are still planning to add more. Finding the right people is hard. This is no easy job. Our Current Administrators are Becky Rangel page creator Patricia Mele Myself Alice Adams Debbie Parsons Alice and Debbie are still learning how we operate our group. Becky is away for a couple days, and speaking on behalf of myself and Patricia (Becky too) we are exhausted. This page is a full time job. Many things going on behind the scenes too that we deal with. We also have to deal with our own personal lives. A quick example is 110 people added today. We click on every profile and try to make sure its not spam or fake accounts. It takes time. Can be 39 pending posts which need to be reviewed at any given time. Add on monitoring the comments and getting a ton of PMs and well we are extremely busy. We are actively brainstorming ways to make the page more effective, organized and user friendly. We really appreciate every member of the group! I ask that you give us a little extra slack in the coming days until we get caught up and the right people in place. We are getting many messages about why posts are not being approved. I literally have 5 pending posts right now with the same article/video. While there is nothing wrong with these posts, if an article is already posted we cant allow more posts on same article. I think everyone can agree that makes good sense. There are also some inappropriate posts that we wont allow. This is at the discretion of the admin. Then we get tons of very sweet well wishes to the family. If we posted every single one the page would be covered! We love the support as does the family. We can not inform every denied post as to the reasoning. Just not enough time to do it. Please dont take these things personally. There are many new members asking questions that have been addressed many many times. Please try to dig around the group and I will guarantee the answer is here already. Admin reserves the right to delete any comments we see fit. We really dont want people fighting amongst themselves here. We are all here to #FreeJustina. Lets not waste valuable time and energy arguing. Put it to good use instead! Lots of questions about protests/rallies. There is not one planned right this minute at least by this group. I have lost track of the number of protests/rallies I personally have worked on and have organized or helped organize. There are many new people who are just learning about the case. This is great. We are glad you have found out about Justina. Please keep in mind many of us have been working nonstop for MONTHS and even as long as a year. Sometimes us old timers need to rest up. Many of us are chronically ill, with chronically ill children. I will promise that if things do not change soon for Justina, or something gets worse, there will be a protest of EPIC proportions! There would be plenty of time in that situation for people from all over the world to attend. Please read the rules of the group. If you can follow these rules there will not be any reason for issues. The goal of this group is to work united, to #FreeJustina! We need to stay focused on that. She is all that matters right now. I hope this clarifies things better for everyone. Thanks again for being amazing warriors for Justina. We will succeed, failure is NOT an option. Thank you Edited to add: Merchandise is being worked on. Tshirts bumper stickers etc. It will be set up so that proceeds will go to legal fund! It even feels odd that we are making items. We know people want them and if it can help the legal fund at the same time well its is a good thing. There are some rather shady looking sites popping up selling items. These are not endorsed by the family, or this group. It is disgusting that people want to make a dime off of Justinas suffering. Do not support them!! They are just lining their own pockets
