Just a few weekends away - starting Friday evening Jan 30 - for two full days of Greek dance, music and song at the annual 2015 Diaspora Greek Dance Conference in Surrey, BC, Canada. I will be teaching a variety of dances concentrating on the regions of Thessaly (Karditsa), the Cycladic Islands (Naxos, Paros) and a specialty workshop on the old style Koulouriotiko Hasapiko of Salamina. Saturday night will be a gala event with music by Seattles own Dromeno Band (Christos Govetas and Family & Friends).
