Just a flat out nightmare, Yankees have to put this one behind them and move on. For the most part the Yankee bullpen has done their job keeping the Yankees in games. Tonight wasnt the case and they were hammered by a Os team that can score runs in a hurry. That 7-3 home stand after the All Star break and the Tigers series felt things would turn around. It just hasnt been the case. Yankees can still make a run at the AL East, but what has been said is they need to be more consistent and play better against AL East opponents. If the Yankees miss the postseason for the 2nd straight year its not the end of the world. Anyone who was alive during the CBS days and the 80s could tell you that there were a lot of seasons were the Yankees were sitting at home in October. From 1965-1975 the Yankees didnt make it to the postseason and from 1982-1995 the Yankees didnt make it to the postseason.-Josh
