Just a topic for a debate... Im old school hispitality trained. Years ago, I was involved in skills training at various 5* Lodges, and as such, was lucky to hitch rides on game drives with paying guests. The rangers, basically stayed with their guests during meals and in the pub etc. My question is the following:- Should guudes not also be taught etiquette?? Which knife and fork to use, not to lick ones knife, not to eat dessert off back of spoon, the art of dinner table small talk etc????
