Just a heads up for those that might not realize it: Just because certain plants like honeysuckle or bradford pear might have pretty flowers and not SEEM to cause a problem in your own yard....the world is a very big place and those species are adding to the seedbank in areas far outside of your yard. We are all here because we like flowers so I think we all can appreciate the beauty, but the trick is not to be swayed by the pretty flowers when a certain plant is highly destructive. As a group we need to think about the ecosystems that we are leaving behind. You may want to plant a pear tree because it will grow quickly and give you shade, but long after that tree is gone people will be fighting the offspring it has created in an effort to preserve our native systems. Thats simply not worth having a quick tree grow in your yard. Remember, we dont plant a tree for ourselves, we do it for future generations. Thanks for your time, smell ya later.
