Just a little rant about a mothers love and guidance. So, tonight I had to have a talk with my daughter. I have been noticing that her attitude has been getting a little out of hand. Her tone when I told her to do something was unsettling. She has been asking why more often, seeming to question my authority. So I sat her down and we talked. I explained to her that not only does she have to watch what she says but how she says it. I am her mother, and I tell her what, when, how, and where. I do so to Protect her, not to be mean. I dont like to raise my voice, and I dont like to punish her. We have to get along. After we talked, we cried together, cuz were some big babies! My love for her is so strong, and I let her know she can talk to me about anything. I will always be here for her, no matter what. I feel like in some cases all it takes is love, affection. Talk to your kids, and listen to them. They are the future, and how we raise them, the values we instill, will stick with them for life. Goodnight.
