Just a little reflection on today. I was actually home sick that day and since my apartment was fairly close to the Pentagon I heard the aircraft as it flew overhead. At the time I did not realize what was happening. I started getting calls from people around the country that knew I lived there and went to the Pentagon frequently on business. As a matter of fact I had been in the exact area that got hit just a few weeks prior and knew some of the heroes who lost their life that day. In a weird sad ironic way I also knew one of the passengers who was on the flight also. He was a Boeing engineer I had done business with a few months before. He was heading back to Seattle. Anyway, after a while I couldnt stand watching the news by myself so I got dressed and went up to Clydes and just sat around the bar with a bunch of other people mesmerized at what we were watching. I actually fell off the cigarette wagon and started smoking again while watching (boo on me). I know it was surreal being in the DC area that day; I cant even fathom what NY was like. It really bothered me to know that there was CAP (Combat Air Patrol) going on over my capital at that time. This country needs to get its head out of its ass and ensures those lunatic POS who would do us harm are wiped off the face of this planet. And SCREW any country that complains. NEVER FORGET!!
