Just a little side note from our trip today--we went to the Deer Park in Tweetsie and fed the animals. You get ice cream cones filled with food and you can either put it in your hand to feed or let them eat from the cone. I mostly put in my hand and let the animals lick me. Love the goats, sheep, and deer. But watch out for the emus people! I could tell that emu was going to be a fiesty one so I left the food in the cone and approached very cautiously. I almost lost a thumb! There should be a sign---do not feed the emu! They tell you not to feed the turtles and well we never saw the turtles but they didnt warn us about the veracious emu department they had running--hahaha!!!
