Just a lyme support group.... And could not help but to think of how truly messed up our health care system is. ...;-( ...The sad part of all of it is I never knew just how awful the system is. I always thought if you were sick you Just go to the doctor and you get better....WELL...EYE OPENER!!!! Having Chronic Lyme disease you learn quickly doctors do not understand how to get you better.... so many doctors with different ways to treat ....But of course you have to be blessed enough to find a doctor to even treat you in the first place. .....Overall the saddest part of all of it....;-( ;-( ....unless you or a family member you truly love gets chronic lyme will your eyes be opened to truly understand this horrible and ugly disease.....And of course there are so many of us that do not have to face this horrible disease (I did not even know the word lyme before..i did not even know such a disease existed) and Because the awareness is not present at any moment or hour someone else could be the next to be effected and it will be at that time that he or she will understand what a messed our health care system is. I want to be able to stop the next person from having to suffer as all lyme patients have to know. .....I want to help not just the ones now effected. ...But to Help those who will be effected later......Lyme disease is serious and can harm more on the human body than some many people realize and not just us effected need to make a difference ...WE ALL DO!!!
